3D Clipboard Release Notes ========================== Get the latest version at http://www.smartsoft.tj/. Current Version: 1.0 (Build 3) Installation ------------ Installing 3D Clipboard is very easy. First of all, make sure you have the Visual Basic 5.0 Runtime Libraries. You can get them fron the Smart Software web page: http://www.smartsoft.tj/files/msvbvm50.exe. Then, just unzip the distribution file into a directory of your choice. If you want 3D Clipboard to start automatically, just make a shortcut in your Startup group. NOTE: I will eventually write a setup program to do this for you, but that is a little ways in the future. Un-installation --------------- To un-install 3D Clipboard (now why would you want to do that?), simply delete the directory where you installed it. (assuming there's no other files in there). 3D Clipboard does not make any registry entries or create any files. What it does ------------ 3D Clipboard allows you to store multiple items in your clipboard at once. Currently, it only supports text, but it will eventually support other formats as well (such as images). As soon as you copy something to your clipboard, 3D Clipboard will add this item to its menu. Documentation ------------- Well, 3D Clipboard is a very simple program. It adds an icon of a paperclip to your tray area next to your clock. If you click the paperclip, it will display a popup menu of items in your clipboard. The item with a check next to it is the currently selected item. To select a different item, just click it. If you copy something into your clipboard that 3D Clipboard does not recognize (such as an image or a file), there won't be a check next to any items. Images will still work, but if you copy something over an image, you won't be able to go back to it.
